Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using Date to Marry (available at datetomarry.com and as a mobile application), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. "Date to Marry", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the Date to Marry platform and its operators.

What Date to Marry is

Date to Marry is a marriage-first matchmaking platform designed for people who are serious about finding a life partner. We offer AI-assisted compatibility matching, a guided discovery conversation system, a relationship coaching companion, and community safety tools. Our approach is intentional and values-driven — one match at a time, on purpose.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Date to Marry. We verify age through government-issued identity documents.
• You must provide accurate, truthful information. Misrepresenting your identity, age, marital status, or intentions is grounds for immediate and permanent removal.
• You must be genuinely interested in marriage and building a lasting partnership. Date to Marry is not a casual dating platform.
• You must not be currently married or in an exclusive relationship unless legally separated.

Identity verification

All members are required to complete identity verification using a government-issued ID document and a selfie before accessing the matching system. Verification is mandatory and non-negotiable. Accounts where verification fails or where identity is found to be fraudulent will be permanently banned.

Your conduct

When using Date to Marry, you agree to:

• Treat every person on the platform with honesty, dignity, and respect
• Not engage in harassment, manipulation, coercion, deception, or any form of abuse
• Not create fake profiles, use another person's identity, or misrepresent yourself in any way
• Not use the platform for commercial solicitation, spam, recruitment, or any purpose other than genuine connection
• Not attempt to extract other members' contact information, personal data, or location against their will
• Not ghost your match without communication — ghosting is a serious breach of our community standards and may result in account penalties
• Report any behavior that makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or deceived using the in-app reporting tool

Ghosting and accountability

Date to Marry takes ghosting seriously. Repeated silence in active matches may result in account warnings, temporary matching pauses, or permanent removal depending on frequency and severity. We track engagement patterns to protect the experience of every member and encourage respectful, honest communication — even when a connection isn't right.

Matching and no guarantees

Date to Marry provides one carefully chosen match at a time. We use AI-assisted compatibility scoring based on your onboarding responses, but we do not guarantee that any match will result in a relationship or marriage. You are responsible for your own decisions and interactions. Exercise appropriate care when meeting anyone from the platform in person.

Community values

Our platform is built on the belief that marriage and family formation deserve the same care and intentionality as any other major life decision. We expect all members to honour the seriousness of that commitment — to show up genuinely, communicate honestly, and treat every match as a real person deserving of respect. We reserve the right to remove any member whose behaviour undermines the safety or integrity of the community.

Safety and reporting

If you feel unsafe, have experienced harassment, or believe a member has misrepresented themselves, you can report them directly in the app. All reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. High-severity reports (safety threats, harassment) trigger immediate review. Substantiated safety reports may result in immediate account suspension.

Subscription and payments

Date to Marry operates on a membership model. Your membership covers a defined matching period. We do not operate on a monthly subscription model — our pricing is designed so that your cost is not tied to how long you remain single. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, written answers, voice recordings). By submitting content, you grant Date to Marry a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it to operate and improve the platform — for example, to display your photo to your match, or to use anonymised response patterns to improve our compatibility model. We will never use your likeness in advertising without explicit consent.

Intellectual property

All software, design, trademarks, logos, and content comprising the Date to Marry platform are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or permanently remove your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, safety concerns, or behaviour that harms other members or the community — with or without prior notice in severe cases.

Limitation of liability

Date to Marry is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the platform, including interactions with other members, loss of data, or service interruptions. We are a platform that facilitates introductions — we are not responsible for the behaviour of individual members.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration in the jurisdiction where Date to Marry operates.
